What is the most valuable thing you've learned in college?

The most valuable lesson I've learned is that if you want something, you need to go out and get it yourself- no one is going to just hand it to you.
Independence! College is your first taste of living on your own, and it's good to get used to having the extra responsibilities that come with renting an apartment, preparing your own meals, and holding yourself accountable for how you spend your time. Learning how to do this while in college is great practice for when you enter the real world!
Connections are everything! You should build a network of contacts for your future from the minute you start college.
